Pashinyan: Armenia and Russia To Implement a Joint Humanitarian Program in Aleppo
Armenia and Russia will soon implement a joint humanitarian program in Aleppo, Syria, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinian told journalists after the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on September 8, news.am reported.
"The main goal of the project is to help the Armenian community of Aleppo and Syria. I am very happy that our countries adopted this joint decision, and representatives of the Armenian Defense Ministry's humanitarian mission will act under the flag of Armenia, " Pashinyan said.
Pashinyan stressed that the program will be a completely humanitarian one and will not contain any military component. Also, Pashinyan expressed hope that other representatives of the international community will be involved in the process, as well.
