German Publicist about Erdogan's Visit: You Mean the Carpet, which Is Painted with the Blood of Armenians?
German publicist Henryk Broder speaking about Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, recalled about the Armenian Genocide.
In an interview with German WELT, he was asked what he thought of a red carpet spread out for the Turkish president.
"What a red carpet? You mean the carpet, which is painted with the blood of Armenians. And what he'll be offered during the solemn reception? Maybe Armenians' meat with rice? We should not bow so low, like our government'', Broder said.
It should be noted that Erdogan's three-day visit has caused a controversial reaction in the German society.
