Putin Says Not Going to Leave Presidential Office Yet
Russian President Vladimir Putin has said he is not going to leave his office yet.
"What’s the rush? I’m not going anywhere yet," he said with a smile, when one of the participants in the VTB Capital’s Russia Calling Investment Forum asked "what Russia will look like the next day Mr. Putin leaves the political stage?" The audience received Putin’s response with laughter, ''TASS'' reports.
"I can put it this way: Russia is already confident and self-sufficient, it is open for cooperation with all of our partners, including the United States," the Russian leader said, becoming serious.
"I hope that it will be realized [by Russia’s foreign partners], and the need to accomplish common tasks and resolve common issues will encourage us to work together," he added.
