Film about Sayat-Nova to be Shot in Hollywood
A new film about Sayat-Nova will be shot in Hollywood. Actor Hovhannes Babakhanyan is currently working on the idea. He spoke about this in an interview with Amga.tv from Los Angeles, ''Hay Dzayn'' reports.
The film is based on the work of Aslan Aslanyan, the most famous esearcher of Sayat-Nova’s works. The film tells about Ashugh's family, his wife and four children.
The first film about Sayat-Nova was shot in 1960. Kim Arzumanyan's black and white film had a great impact on the viewpoint of modern Armenians on the life of Armenians in the XVIII century.
