The Situation was Relatively Calm along Artsakh-Azerbaijan Border: Senor Hasratyan
The situation was relatively calm along the Line of Contact between Artsakh and Azerbaijan in the New Year and Christmas Holiday period, according to the Defense Army’s spokesperson Senor Hasratyan.
Senor Hasratyan said the frontline troops closely follow the maintenance of the ceasefire regime in the conflict zone, tert.am reported.
“There are not almost any shootings. The frontline military troops strictly observe the ceasefire regime, confidently continuing their military vigil,” he mentioned.
Senor Hasratyna has also added that the adversary refrained from the kind of subversive attacks traditionally launched in the holiday season.
The Defense Army’s press service earlier reported 125 ceasefire violations in the period between December 30 and January 5. In a press release, it said that the Azerbaijani troops fired their defense positions 1,000 times from weapons of different calibers.
