Armenians and Azerbaijanis Should Live in Peace in Georgia: Zurabishvili
Armenia and Georgia are not only neighbors, but also friends, said Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili in Yerevan after the meeting with her Armenian counterpart Armen Sarkissian, News.am reports.
According to her, peace and stability are crucial for our region.
There are many challenges in the region and it is necessary to remember that the main way is the peaceful resolution of conflicts on the basis of the norms of international law, she said adding that all conflicts should be resolved via dialogue and talks.
The Georgian President noted that Karabakh conflict should not be shifted to the Georgian territory and the Armenians and Azerbaijanis should live in peace there.
The leaders discussed the potential of the region, talked about the visit of Salome Zurabishvili to the EU and Georgia’s plans regarding the EU.
