President Armen Sarkissian Had Phone Conversation with Nursultan Nazarbayev
Armenia's President Armen Sarkissian had a telephone conversation with Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Armen Sarkissian appreciated Nursultan Nazarbayev's role in the formation and development of Kazakh-Armenian relations based on mutually beneficial cooperation and for the benefit of the two nations.
Armen Sarkissian also highlighted that Nursultan Nazarbayev is one of the most respected politicians of our time who greatly contributed to fostering stability and security worldwide.
As reported earlier, Kazakh President Nazarbayev on March 19 announced his resignation. He will retain the post of head of the country's security council and leader of the ruling party. Elections will be held only next year.
