President of the National Assembly of Artsakh Welcomed Creation of the "Parliamentary Friends of the People of Artsakh" Group
March 22, President of the Artsakh Republic National Assembly Ashot Ghoulyan sent a thank-you letter to the member of the Canadian House of Commons, Rachael Harder, under whose leadership, a group of parliamentarians formed a friendship group with the Artsakh people in Ottawa on March 19.
The letter particularly says:
"Dear Mrs. Harder, On behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh and on my own behalf, I express gratitude to you and the members of the group for the desire and determination to develop friendly relations with the Artsakh people".
This initiative is a new institutional level of our cooperation, which began two years ago, starting with your visit to Stepanakert and acquaintance with our country.
I am sure that it will become an effective platform in the expansion of mutually beneficial ties between Artsakh and Canada, particularly in the area of humanitarian cooperation."
President of the National Assembly also sent a thank-you letter to the Executive Director of the Canadian Hayadat (ARF) Group, Sevak Belyan, for the assistance shown in the formation of the Friendship Group.
