Armenia to Chair Upcoming UN Commission on the Status of Women Sessions
Armenia has been elected to chair the 64th and 65th sittings of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Zaruhi Batoyan wrote on Facebook.
“I congratulate all of us”, she wrote. “The sitting is the second largest event of the UN after the General Assembly. Armenia has been elected a member of the commission for 2019-2023”.
