Nikol Pashinyan, "Do Not Threaten Us With war"

“Armenia will force the adversary to peace if war is imposed on us,” Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told reporters on Monday after a closed meeting with the parliamentary faction “My Step.”

"We are stating, do not frighten us with war. We are not afraid of war. Someone thinks that if they start a war against Armenia, we will surrender? If so, then they are totally mistaken," said Pashinyan.

According to him, Armenia wants the issue to be resolved exclusively by peaceful negotiation. But this does not mean that Yerevan is afraid of the threat of war.

“In a war, they do not treat pilaf. But if a war is imposed on us, we will force peace. When we talk about war, we stress the importance of the negotiation process,” the prime minister added.

He stated that Armenia will not break the agreement of Dushanbe. Pashinyan expressed hope that his Azerbaijani counterpart will not violate these agreements, Sputnik Armenia notes. He also warned Baku against the threat of the use of force as a factor in the negotiations.
