The USA Never Denies the Historical Fact of Armenian Genocide: US Ambassador in Armenia
Armenpress
The United States always remembers and never denies the historical fact of the Armenian Genocide, Ambassador of the USA to the RA Lynne Tracy said to reporters today in Genocide Victims Memorial Park Tsitsernakaberd.
Asked about the measures the United States' Administration is considering now given that 49 out of the 50 states have recognized the Genocide, the ambassador Tracy mentioned the following. “We are here to keep our focus on, and honor the memory of, these victims. The United States does not deny the historical facts, and the fact is that what took place in 1915 is one of the worst mass atrocities of the 20th century, but we remain encouraged by the resiliency of the Armenian people, and I think that’s also what today is about.”
Tert.am reports, that she has also thanked the American-Armenian community for its contribution to the country and praising the Armenian nation’s resiliency.
