President Armen Sarkissian Hosted the World-Famous Soprano Hasmik Grigorian
President Armen Sarkissian hosted today the world-famous soprano, winner of the International Musical Competition 2019 in the Best opera singer nomination Hasmik Grigorian and Creative Director of the A. Spendiarian Opera and Ballet National Academic Theater Constantin Orbelian.
Armen Sarkissian congratulated Hasmik Grigorian on her recent solo concert at the A. Spendiarian Opera and Ballet National Academic Theater which was dedicated to the memory of the singer’s father, RA People’s Artist, Distinguished Artist of Lithuania Gegham Grigorian. The President underscored that had been seeing Gegham Grigorian often, had a personal friendship with him. He said that G. Grigorian’s art and excellence was appreciated not only in Armenia and by the Armenians but also internationally.
Hasmik Grigorian expressed thanks for the warm welcome and noted that her father’s contribution to her professional choice and to her distinction as a singer was great. The singer spoke also about her forthcoming plans and projects.
The interlocutors discussed the possibilities of new concerts in Armenia with the participation of H. Grigorian.
