Consultation on Issues of Child Adoption
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a consultation on issues of child adoption.
Discussed were issues related to the adoption of Armenia-domiciled children by Armenian citizens, foreigners or Armenian citizens residing abroad, including the applicable legislation, accounting procedures, as well as the law enforcement and health aspects inherent in child adoption. The meeting focused on the risks that have been identified during the relevant studies.
Prime Minister Pashinyan instructed those responsible to jointly discuss and develop a draft government resolution on establishing an interagency task force to analyze and make recommendations on legislative regulations.
