Constitutional Court to examine application of Armenia’s second president today

Armenia’s Constitutional Court will examine today the constitutionality of an article of Armenia's Criminal code on the basis of the application filed by Armenia’s president Robert Kocharyan.

Supporters of the second president as well as those against him gathered in front of the court, Aysor reports.

Judge of the CC Vahe Grigoryan submitted a motion about the impossibility of participation of Hrayr Tovmasyan, Arevik Petrosyan and Hrant Nazaryan in the examination due to their participation in making decision over March 1 case earlier.

Vahe Grigoryan believes that they cannot be unbiased in the examination of Kocharyan’s application.
