Speculation of Syrian-Armenian Community Security Issues Stemming From Narrow Personal Interests Inadmissible: MFA spokesperson
The U.S. government has not demanded from the Armenian side withdrawal of the troops from Syria, Armenia’s Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesperson Anna Naghadalyan told Aysor.am, referring to some media publications.
“We have many times rejected this information. Currently an attempt is being made to again circulate the already rejected information tasting it with new made-up details which of course does not correspond to reality,” Naghdalyan said.
She described the speculation of the issues on security of the Armenian community in Syria and the Armenian assistance to them stemming from narrow personal interests inadmissible.
“I would also like to add that the institutions working in the security sector and their heads are always having consultations over different issues and it has many times been stated by the heads of the establishments as well,” Naghdalyan added.
