Artsakh Heads to Polls to Vote in Local Elections
Polling stations across Artsakh Republic opened on Sunday morning (8.00 am) for voters to cast their ballots in the local elections.
As Central Electoral Commission reports, 416 candidates will compete for posts of community heads and 1401 candidates run for seats at Council of Elders in 228 communities of Artsakh.
The voters will elect also heads of communities in capital Stepanakert, Shushi, Askeran, Martakert, Martuni, Qshatagh and Karvachar towns.
