Italian Senate Ratifies EU-Armenia Agreement

The Senate of Italy has ratified the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the European Union and Armenia.
242 lawmakers voted in favor of the ratification of the agreement, 2 abstained, the Armenian Embassy to Italy says on Facebook.
''We are hopeful that it (the Agreement) will soon be ratified also by the Italian Chamber of Deputies,'' reads the statement.
