Armenia's NA Speaker Takes Part in the Meeting of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly Council
On November 21, in Saint Petersburg the RA NA Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan participated in the Meeting of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly Council.
Among other issues, the reports on the IPA CIS Observation Missions in the presidential elections in Kazakhstan and in the parliamentary elections in Belarus were presented to the Council.
The schedule of the Observation Missions in the national elections to be held in the CIS countries next year, and the list of the events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War were discussed.
The Council approved the agenda of the IPA CIS Plenary Session on November 22.
By Ararat Mirzoyan’s proposal the document on the execution of the international humanitarian law in case of violent extremism and terrorism was removed from the agenda of the plenary session for additional discussion in the committees.
