Nikol Pashinyan, Bako Sahakyan Meet with Presidential Candidates in Artsakh
RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan met with those political figures running for the upcoming presidential election in Artsakh: the leader of the Artsakh Democratic Party, incumbent Speaker of the National Assembly of Artsakh Ashot Ghoulian, incumbent Foreign Minister of Artsakh Masis Mayilyan, Free Homeland party leader Arayik Harutyunyan. In attendance was ARF Central Committee representative in Artsakh, Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary faction member David Ishkhanyan.
The meeting focused on issues related to the upcoming general elections, as well as on the current political situation in Artsakh. Prime Minister Pashinyan referred to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the ongoing army-building efforts.
Nikol Pashinyan stressed the importance of holding free, fair, transparent presidential and parliamentary elections in Artsakh in line with international standards. He assured that the Government of Armenia will assist the Artsakh authorities in every possible way in that matter.
