Some Roads in Armenia are Closed and Difficult to Pass
According to the Ministry of ES of RA on December 2 by 23:30 some roads in Armenia are closed and difficult to pass.
Vardenyats Pass (from the part of Gegharkunik Province) is closed for trucks. Sotk-Karvachar roadway is closed for trailer trucks and difficult to pass for other vehicles.
Alagyaz-Artik roadway is difficult to pass.
Black-ice is formed on Saravan-"Zanger" roadway.
It is snowing on Sotk-Karvachar roadway, in Tigranashen turns, in Gegharkunik Province, in Spitak and Stepanavan towns of Lori Province, in Aparan and Tsaghkahovit regions of Aragatsotn Province, in Shirak Province, in Kajaran town, in Gorayk village, in the teritorries called "Meghru sar'' and "Zanger" of Syunik Province, in Charentsavan town of Kotayk Province, in Dilijan town of Tavush Province.
There is fog on Sotk-Karvachar roadway, in Goris and Sisian towns of Syunik Province.
According to the information received from the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open for all types of vehicles.
According to the information received from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, Republic of North Ossetia there are 230 trucks accumulated on the Russian part.
Drivers are advised to drive only on winter tires.
Construction works are underway on Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen highway, as a result of which the above-mentioned section of the road is closed for trucks. The following alternative highway has been established - Dilijan-Noyemberyan-Bagratashen.
