Roadways in RA are Mainly Passable

According to the Ministry of ES of RA on December 9 by 11:45 roads in Armenia are mainly passable.

Sotk-Karvachar roadway and Vardenyats Pass are open for all types of vehicless, but open for trucks only in case of using tire chains.

There is clear-eyes on Sotk-Karvachar roadway, in Vardenyats Pass and on Saravan-''Zanger'' of Syunik Province.

On Yerevan-Ashtarak roadway, in Armavir town of Armavir Province and in Charentsavan town of Kotayk Province there is fog.

According to the information provided by the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and from the Department of CMC of the Republic of North Ossetia of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open for all types of vehicles.

Drivers are recommended to drive exclusively on winter tires.  

Construction works are underway on Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen highway, as a result of which the above-mentioned section of the road is closed for trucks. The following alternative highway has been established:
