Third President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan offered condolences on the untimely and tragic passing of former Director of RA National Security Service Georgi Kutoyan.
"I was deeply shocked to learn of the tragic demise of Georgi Kutoyan. Words are incapable of expressing the great tragedy that affects not only the family of Georgi Kutoyan, who suffered an irreparable and bitter loss, but also all those who have ever known him as a man of high qualities and professionalism, a civilized young man and a meritorious state official.
I express my deepest condolences to Georgi Kutoyan’s family, relatives and friends. At this difficult time of mourning, I share in their grief and sorrow.
May God keep Georgi’s soul in light and peace, and give his family comfort and consolation.
Given the high public position that Georgi Kutoyan held in his lifetime, the criminal probe into the case should be under the public’s close attention and control."
