Some Roads in Armenia are Closed and Difficult to Pass
According to the Ministry of ES of RA on January 20 by 12:00 some roads in Armenia are closed and difficult to pass.
Vardenyats Pass is open for trucks in case of using tire chains.
Sotk-Karvachar roadway is closed for trucks and difficult to pass for for other vehicles.
Black ice is formed on some roadways of Syunik Province.
There is fog in Goris town, in "Meghru sar" part of Syunik Province and Sotk-Karvachar roadway.
According to the information provided by the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and from the Department of Crisis Management Center of the Republic of North Ossetia of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are recommended to drive exclusively on winter tires.
