Vahagn Vermishyan Was Arrested
The court has granted the investigator's motion to arrest Vahagn Vermishyan, Chairman of the Urban Development Committee of Armenia, reports NEWS.am.
Within the framework of a criminal case initiated by the National Security Service into taking large-scale bribe, the crime suspects were apprehended, two of them—including the chairman of the aforementioned committee—were detained.
Moreover, while being questioned as a suspect, this bribe-taking official confessed to committing the crime.
The investigation is still in progress.
