Andrzej Kasprzyk Takes Actions Stemming from His Mandate: OSCE (Tert.am)

Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk takes actions stemming from his mandate, including meetings with different interlocutors across the region, the OSCE Media Relations Section confirmed Tuesday.

The statement comes in response to Tert.am's request for clarifications over a recently arranged meeting between the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and the ″Azerbaijani community of Artsakh″. 

Tert.am was interested, in particular, whether the said meeting really took place and if so, what other meeting is now being planned (if any at all) in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) and with whom (to maintain the principle of parity). We also sought comments on the significance of the kind of meetings on future peace efforts.

''Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk takes actions stemming from his mandate, including meetings with different interlocutors across the region. He provides information on his observations to the OSCE Chairmanship and to the Minsk Group. This, and other activities he undertakes, are accepted and supported. Ambassador Kasprzyk will continue to travel throughout the whole region, in line with his mandate and with the aim to support a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict,'' the organization says in the written response submitted to our editorial office.
