First Flow of Armenian Citizens Returns from Iran by Special Flight
The first flow of Armenian citizens from Iran has returned to Armenia by special flight.
The plane carrying Armenian citizens landed at 4 pm, said Arsen Avagyan, head of Department for Neighboring Countries of Armenian MFA, News.am reports.
The next group of Armenia citizens will return on February 28. Sixty-five Armenian citizens have applied to the Armenian Embassy in Iran to return to their homeland.
Armenia has partially stopped ground and air communication with the neighboring country for two weeks amid coronavirus outbreak there. However, no restrictions apply for the Armenian and Iranian citizens to return to their homeland.
