RA NA Speaker Ararat Mirzoayn has congratulated Arayik Harutyunyan on being elected in the position of President of Artsakh Republic.
''Dear Mr Harutyunyan,
Please accept my warmest congratulations on the occasion of being elected in the position of President of Artsakh Republic as a result of the competitive elections held in Arsakh.
Assuming the position of the Head of Artsakh during this period full of great opportunities and at the same time most different challenges for our people, you undertake the mission of ensuring security, the economic development of Artsakh, the solution of the Artsakh people’s social problems, the radical democratic reforms and strengthening of democratic institutes, as well as the responsibility of ensuring the harmony and proportionality of those processes in our two republics.
We should ensure the protection of the indisputable right of the Artsakh Armenians’ free self-determination through joint efforts. The Republic of Armenia and the Artsakh Republic should continue to take joint practical steps for strengthening our united security system and returning Artsakh to negotiation table within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship format.
Dear Mr Harutyunyan,
I wish you great strength, steadfastness, wisdom and broad-mindedness in your immeasurably responsible work for the glory of Artsakh Republic, the Republic of Armenia and building of our pan-Armenian desires.
With readiness of permanently supporting you in your mission'', Mirzoyan's statement reads.
