President of European Council Calls on EU Member States to Open Borders as soon as Possible
President of the European Council Charles Michel called on the member states of the European Union to open borders as soon as possible, which have been closed since March as a result of coronavirus pandemic, TASS reports.
''Taking appropriate measures, it’s necessary to open the European borders as soon as possible'', he said, speaking at the European Parliament.
Michelle emphasized that opening borders is necessary for the economy and tourism.
