Lavrov: Armenia, Russia Have Very Close Military Cooperation

Russia assesses relations with Armenia as allied, Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov stated at a briefing today, Aysor.am reports.
“It also relates to the relations in the sidelines of the CSTO and bilateral relations. We have very, very close military cooperation,” Lavrov said.
“You know that Russian military base is located in Armenia helping to ensure stability and security in the region. As to military-technical cooperation and our military-technical assistance to the Republic of Armenia, here we too have close and productive work and not even a dialogue. It is a permanent, every day and professional work. So here, no issues are being created,” he said.
