Armenian PM Reacts to Use of Force by Police Against Man for Not Wearing Face Mask
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has reacted to the social media footage which shows police officers using force against a man for not wearing a face mask, defending the police actions as a way to make people comply with the anti-coronavirus rules.
“Dear compatriots,
The police are a law enforcement agency, which can and must use force against those who openly ignore the established rules in the manner prescribed by law.
This is my demand from the police, this is also the public demand from the police,” Pashinyan said on Facebook, Panorama.am reports.
