China won't Join Russia, US in Nuclear Arms Control Talks

China does not plan to take part in any trilateral nuclear disarmament negotiations with Russia and the United States, Hua Chunying (pictured), spokeswoman for the foreign ministry in Beijing, revealed on Tuesday, Teletrader reports.
Hua said that the reason for China's decision is the alleged attempt by Washington to "shift the responsibility to others," as the United States has already withdrawn or has disregarded its commitments from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF), the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT), and the Treaty on Open Skies.
According to Hua, it is absurd when an official of such a country talks about "negotiations in good faith."
