Armenia’s NPP Upgrading Works to Continue After Allocation of Financial Means: Minister
Armenian-Russian relations are of firm strategic nature but at the same time we have an issue of effective usage of loans in the country, territorial administration and infrastructures minister Suren Papikyan told the reporters today, referring to the program on upgrading the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant, Aysor.am reports.
“We have inherited different loans the terms of which were either expiring or expired. In this phase we have found more beneficial for our country to solve the issue at our own expense,” he said.
“As to our partners, Rosatom company is the main implementer company, we still have agreements with our partners and after allocation of necessary financial means the construction works will continue in a proper way,” the minister said.
