Shushan Stepanyan: Up to 200 COVID-19 Tests Conducted in Army Per Day
Up to 200 COVID-19 tests were performed in the army per day. Shushan Stepanyan, the spokesperson for the Minister of Defense of Armenia, wrote about this on her Facebook page.
In particular, she noted that medical specialists from the Armenian and Russian Armed Forces continue to carry out joint coronavirus tests at the mobile COVID-19 research lab that was transferred from Russia to Armenia.
As per Stepanyan, this joint work, as well as the recently expanded capabilities of the military medical department of the Armenian army, allow for about 200 COVID-19 tests to be conducted per day in the army.
Also, according to the defense minister’s spokesperson, Russian specialists conduct trainings for a group of Armenian military doctors and specialists.
"The Armenian army is healthy, the preventive work continues," Shushan Stepanyan concluded.
