Armenia Ombudsman’s Office Prepares 2nd Interim Report on Azerbaijani Shelling of Tavush Settlements
The Office of the Human Rights Defender of Armenia is preparing the second interim report in English over the shelling of Chinari, Aygepar and Berd communities of Tavush province by the Azerbaijani armed forces in order to send it to the international organizations, Ombudsman Tatoyan said on Facebook, Armenpress reports.
"On July 14 the peaceful residents of Berd town notified the Ombudsman’s Office that the town is being shelled and presented other details.
The Ombudsman reacted to the statements of the Armenian defense ministry and foreign ministry according to which the Azerbaijani side has targeted the civilian infrastructures and residents of Berd town in Tavush province with an attacking drone.
The Ombudsman strongly condemns the shelling of the Armenian civilian settlement with the targeting of the civilian population, their health, life and property", Tatoyan said.
