USA Urges Armenia and Azerbaijan to Immediately Deescalate Situation

The USA urges Armenia and Azerbaijani to immediately deescalate the situation on the border, resume the peace talks and establish ceasefire, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said at a press conference on Wednesday, Aysor.am reports.
''The USA is deeply concerned with the deadly violence on the international border between Armenia and Azerbaijan. We express our condolences to the families of the victims and call for immediate deescalation, resumption of substantive dialogue and ceasefire for launching the negotiations with the Minsk Group co-chairs,'' Pompeo said.
