Russia’s Putin and Security Council Express Readiness to Become Mediators Between Armenia and Azerbaijan
President of Russia Vladimir Putin and permanent members of Russia’s Security Council discussed the situation on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, spokesperson of Russia’s president Dmitri Peskov told the reporters today, Aysor.am reports.
“The participants exchanged opinions over the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. They expressed serious concern over the continuous escalation, drawing the attention to the necessity of ensuring ceasefire by the parties. Readiness for mediation activity has also been stressed,” he said.
