China Says Pompeo Is Spreading 'Political Viruses'
U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo constantly criticizes and blames China, wherever he goes and is spreading ''political viruses and disinformation'', Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said during news conference, RIA Novosti reports.
''Guided by the ideas of the Cold War and his own selfish interests, he again and again unreasonably criticizes the Communist Party of China, as well as the domestic and foreign policies of the PRC. China has repeatedly expressed its position on this issue’’, Zhao Lijian said.
According to him, Pompeo tries to ''tie the international community to an anti-China, anti-Communist chariot’’, but the international community is very clear about that, and will not be fooled by him.
