Artsakh President Walked Around the Capital Stepanakert: New Streets Will Be Improved, Issues of Unsafe Buildings Will Be Solved
On the previous day President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan walked around several districts of Stepanakert.
The Head of the State met residents of the unsafe building N26 on the Martouni Street. He stated that he had instructed to solve the issue of all unsafe buildings in the capital and other communities of the republic in the shortest period of time. According to the President, for solving the housing issue of the building's residents, the necessary funds will be allocated from the state budget. Before that they can move to rental houses and the state will provide rental charges.
The basis for handing out apartments will be the decision of a corresponding commission. According to the latter, the Government will be capable of allocating apartments with corresponding number of rooms or compensations in corresponding amounts.
The President noted that false registrations aiming at getting additional sums will be excluded. The commission will also make an inventory of other unsafe buildings of the capital and issues relating to them will be solved alternately.
The main problem of the Shahinyan, Amiryan, Shiraz, Hovhannesyan streets' residents are poor roads conditions. According to the instruction of the President, all the mentioned streets will be renovated and asphalted with the state budget funds in 2021.
The President was accompanied by the Minister of municipal engineering Aram Sargsyan and Mayor of Stepanakert Davit Sargsyan.
