We Will Join Efforts To Ensure Artsakh’s And Armenia’s Development: Nikol Pashinyan Meets With Arayik Harutyunyan
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today had a private meeting with President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan in the Office of Government.
“Dear President of the Artsakh Republic, I am pleased to host you in Yerevan on the 29th anniversary of Armenia’s independence. It was a landmark event in Armenia’s history, and our task is to ensure the continuity and eternity of the statehood we created in 1991 through the unanimous will of the Armenian nation. It is obvious that statehood is the only pledge for the development of our people. Artsakh is the most important issue on our national agenda, and I am glad that in the past, today and in the future as well, we will combine efforts to fulfill our role as a guarantor of stability in the region, to ensure the normal development of Artsakh and Armenia. Congratulations and I am glad to welcome you again,” Prime Minister Pashinyan said in his greeting remarks.
“Thank you Mr. Prime Minister. Taking the opportunity, I would like to congratulate all of us on this nice holiday. I am convinced that we have not only guaranteed the future of the Armenian world - Armenia and Artsakh, but we are also going to have such development dynamics as will make our homeland the country of our dreams. Mr. Prime Minister, I wish to thank you for this meeting. This is another evidence that we treat the fate of our homeland with high sense of responsibility, especially as our meetings are mainly focused on security and on the joint social and economic projects of Armenia and Artsakh. In the meantime, we are well aware that at this difficult period we must do our best to achieve a lasting peace for our countries,” the President of Artsakh said.
Armenia’s Prime Minister and the Artsakh President discussed a number of issues of bilateral cooperation.
