President of Artsakh Met with RA Defense Minister David Tonoyan
On 22 September Arayik Harutyunyan met with RA Defense Minister David Tonoyan in the administrative complex of the Defense Ministry in Yerevan.
The Head of the State expressed his satisfaction with the high level of cooperation between the Defense Army and the Armed Forces highlighting that defense and external security issues are in the spotlight of the political authorities of both the Republic of Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia. According to President Harutyunyan, the Armenian army plays a pivotal role in maintaining peace and stability in the region, and within this context, the sustainable expansion of our military capabilities by consistent and concerted efforts is an imperative.
David Tonoyan welcomed the President's first official visit to the Defense Ministry and assured that through joint and coordinated work they will continue strengthening the security system of the two Armenian states.
