Defense Army to Be Replenished with Citizens with Vast Experience: Artsakh President
In the coming hours and days, the Defense Army will be replenished with citizens with vast experience in and knowledge about war and professional military service, President of Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan wrote on his Facebook page, News.am reports.
''Dear compatriots,
Today I visited the center of Askeran region and discussed with the region’s administration the participation of militiamen in the war. The head of the administration reported that the people have a high sense of responsibility and that voluntary detachments are being formed properly.
With the example of Askeran, detachments composed of militiamen are currently being formed in all regions of the republic.
In the coming hours and days, the Defense Army will be replenished with citizens with vast experience in and knowledge about war and professional military service, and I am certain that their participation will essentially help increase the effectiveness of the operations that our troops are carrying out on the battlefield,'' Harutyunyan wrote.
