Artsrun Hovhannisyan: The Battle For Shushi Will End Tomorrow, I Suppose

Military operations are currently taking place inside Shushi and around Shushi, our troops are waging a heroic struggle to defend Shushi, and in some positions where Azerbaijani or mercenary forces have appeared, to neutralize them and take the control into our hands. Artsrun Hovhannisyan, a representative of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, announced this Sunday evening on Public Television, NEWS.am reports.

"Now it is hard to say who is in control of the situation. There were fierce battles since early morning, throughout the afternoon. It is difficult to say exactly who had the initiative. Yesterday afternoon, at night they infiltrated into the city in large groups, our people regrouped and took action to neutralize them.

(…) let's just trust our troops which have fought a knowledgeable fight all day, let's wait for some time, the battle of Shushi, which has been going on non-stop for four days, with successes and failures, the assessment is constantly changing, it will be clear once and for all tomorrow. The battle for Shushi will end tomorrow, I suppose," Hovhannisyan added.
