US Calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan to Resume Work with the OSCE Minsk Group

The United States calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan to resume work with the OSCE Minsk Group for the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, Deputy Secretary of State of the United States Stephen E. Biegun said at the OSCE Ministerial meeting, RIA Novosti reports.
"We call on the governments of Armenia and Azerbaijan to resume work with the co-chairs of the Minsk Group to achieve a lasting and peaceful solution to the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh," Biegun said.
According to him, "this conflict cannot be resolved on the battlefield, and although we welcome the ceasefire, this is only the first step."
