Five More Bodies of War Casualties Retrieved from Karabakh Conflict Zone
The search operations in the Nagorno-Karabah (Artsakh) conflict zone have led to the recovery of more bodies.
The remains of five fallen servicemen were retrieved from the Fizuli-Mataghis-Hadrut-Jabrayil section of the frontline, says Hunan Tadevosyan, a spokesperson for the Artsakh Ministry of Emergency Situations.
"The corpses are unidentifiable; a DNA expertise needs to be carried out for establishing [the soldiers'] identity," he told Tert.am.
The spokesperson added that their operational headquarters is now continuing the collection of more records.
"The search operations involve also parents and volunteers," he said, unveiling plans for further search activities in the Mataghis-Fizuli section and the Kashatagh region.
