Artsakh Parliament to Discuss Making Russian Language Second Official Language in the Republic
The parliament of the Artsakh Republic will discuss the bill on making amendments in the law on Language. The bill offers to make Russian language second official language in Artsakh, aysor.am reports.
“Taking into account the historic memories of cultural, military, economic relations between Artsakh and Russia and the fact that for many people of Artsakh Russian language is the second language for contacts we consider the re-evaluation of the new quality of relations and formation of new agenda,” the grounding of the bill reads.
