Armenia’s NA Council Session Does not Take Place After Speaker Fails to Come and Open it – Edmon Marukyan
Armenia’s National Assembly session did not take place after NA speaker failed to come and open it, Bright Armenia faction head Edmon Marukyan told the reporters, Aysor reports.
“During the previous two times the duties of the NA speaker were fulfilled by Lena Nazaryan she opened the session but it did not take place due to absence of quorum. Now, I assess it as disrespect toward the 1/5 of the NA. My assessment is the following – the National Assembly does not have a chairman,” Marukyan said.
The session of the NA Council was planned for 11 a.m. Friday.
The PAP and Bright Armenia factions initiated it to discuss the annulling of martial law and the situation created in the country.
