Nikol Pashinyan Continues Unfair Accusations against Armenian Church: Mother See
The Mother See responded to the statements of acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, addressed to the Armenian Church during election rally.
''During the election campaign, Civil Contract party candidate for the post of Armenia's prime minister Nikol Pashinyan, continues to make unfair accusations against the Armenian Church. The attitude of the current government to national, spiritual values and to the Church is well known to our people. In this context, the behavior of the Acting Prime Minister towards the clergy should also be taken into account.
Despite the obstacles and the position of the authorities, the Armenian Church will continue to implement its soul-saving, patriotic mission in the life of the Armenian people'', the statement reads.
