About 650 Private Houses Will Be Built for Those Displaced from Azokh, Drakhtik, Qarin Tak and Avetaranoc Communities

On September 10 President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan visited Aygestan and Noragyukh communities of the Askeran region in the administrative territories of which, separate settlements are being built for the residents from the communities of Azokh and Drakhtik of the Hadrut region, Qarin Tak of the Shushi region, and Avetaranots of the Askeran region who were displaced as a result of the war unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh in 2020.
The construction of the settlements is carried out with the financial means provided to the Government of the Artsakh Republic by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
The head of state followed the start of the construction and gave appropriate instructions. The residential districts with about 650 private houses will be provided with all the necessary infrastructure. The first apartments will be ready in 2022, and the construction is planned to be completed in 2023.
President Harutyunyan stressed that the issue of providing housing to all displaced families after the third Artsakh war is in the center of the state's special attention, and the Government will spare no effort to solve this issue at the shortest possible time. The President of the Artsakh Republic emphasized that in addition to housing projects, the state will support displaced families to carry out economic activities and provide their own income.
