Vacation in Schools Will Be Extended for a Week; Universities Are Offered to Transfer to Distance Education: Ministry of Health
The press secretary of the Ministry of Health Hripsime Khachatryan told Iravaban.net that the vacation in schools will be extended for a week. The Ministry has offered universities to transfer to distance education.
''The situation in the world is tense; we have exhausted the bed fund as well as the professional potential. Universities were offered to transfer to distance learning for an unknown period of time about 15 days ago, and schools were told to extend their vacation for a week,'' she said.
According to Khachatryan, the same applies to kindergartens. Speaking about the possibility of passing to ''Lockdown'', she mentioned that the state is not ready for that yet.
It should be noted that the vacation days were set by the order of the Minister of Education, Sciense, Culture and Sports, but it will be extended.
By the current order of the Minister:
The first graders’ autumn vacations are from October 18 to 31, 2021 inclusive.
The second graders’ autumn vacations are from October 25 to 31, 2021 inclusive.
The autumn vacations of the tudents in grades 3-12 are from 25-31 October, 2021.
They will be extended for a week.
