Security Officials Assure that There Are No Positional Changes in the Area of Pela Mountain in Syunik: Seyran Ohanyan
First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Kamo Kochunts and the Commander of the National Security Service Border Troops Arman Maralchyan assured that there are no positional changes in the area of Mount Pela in Syunik, only the Russian post has been removed. This was stated by the head of the "Hayastan" faction, former Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan told the journalists in the parliament on Tuesday, Sputnik Armenia reports.
"They say that there are no positional changes. According to them, a Russian post was between the posts of the Armed Forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan in the area of Pela mountain. However, their (Russian) post was removed by the decision of the Russian side, " Ohanyan said.
According to the deputy, it would be correct to visit the place and find out the situation on the spot within the framework of parliamentary control.
